Early Mornings

Ever since we moved Emily and Madison have gotten up every morning around 7 am to play together. I know that this isn't exactly early, but for us it is. They used to sleep until about 8:30. The nice thing is they don't wake me up they just run into the toy room together and play. The only not so nice thing is Madison isn't ready to wake up at 7 and usually Emily wakes her up to alot of screaming. After about 2 minutes Madison is excited to go play, but then she is usually grumpier than she used to be. I love that they really like to play together though.

My Friend

Emily was making her Valentines for preschool yesterday. She was doing all the Valentines and got really excited and said she wanted to make one for her friend Madison. I asked her if she meant Maddie-Mo or Madison Smith. She said "My friend Maddie-Mo Mom" (meaning her sister) I love it that they are so close, and the valentine she got the most excited about making was the one for her sister.

Potty Time

JJ has started using the toilet! We know that it will be a while before he is potty trained, but he has actually pooped and peed in the toilet. The first time I just told him to poop and he did! I figure if he at least poops some of the time then that is one less diaper I have to change. :) Madison has decided she wants to wear panties at night and during naps so we are giving her chocolate as an incentive to stay dry during those times. We will see how it works. So far she hasn't stayed dry, but has pooped so she could get some chocolate. We are looking forward to the day when we have only one kid in diapers and hopefully soon after that it will be no kids in diapers.

We've Moved

We are now officially moved. We moved on January 22nd from Caldwell to Meridian. I haven't finished unpacking everything yet but we are getting there thanks to the help of several of our friends. We also rented out our old house last week, and the new renters moved in on Monday. That is one worry that is taken care of. Whew! Last week was spent cleaning, fixing, and installing (new carpet for one room). It is crazy how all the repairs we always planned on making waited until we moved out of the house. We love all the space in our new home. The kids especially love it and are constantly running all over the place. They weren't quite this active at our old home. Maybe there wasn't enough room? We will post pictures as soon as everything is unpacked.
