The Cabin

The weekend after we went to Utah we went to my grandpa's cabin. We went so we could pull the logs out from under the cabin that are for campfires. Squirrels had decided to get under the cabin and chew through some floorboards so my grandpa is going to fix it, but he needed the logs out of the way. We had a lot of fun working together and were also able to spend some time with my cousins that were visiting from California. The kids love the cabin.

JJ spent most of his time out in the sandbox. He would have stayed out there all day if we had let him. We wouldn't let him go outside though without an adult.

The kids also enjoyed playing with the toys that are up at the cabin.

This is my cousin Riley. Apparently this is one of the first times he had held a baby. He did a very good job. My kids really enjoyed playing with my cousins too. The hammock was another favorite. This is my cousin Celine.

Wasp Stings

While we were in Utah Maddie and JJ got their very first wasp stings. They were eating dinner out on the patio and JJ started crying. We went to see what was going on and he had a wasp hanging from his lip. We brought him in and told the other kids to come in too. In the process of coming in Maddie also got bit twice next to her eye. They were very brave and cried for short while. We are going to have to keep an eye on JJ if he ever gets stung again though because his lip was huge. We aren't sure if it is because he is allergic to wasp stings or because the lips have a lot of blood flow. This picture doesn't do it justice. His lip was huge.

Maddie's didn't swell up as much. The white stuff is a mixture of Baking Soda and water that we put on it.

Cousins

My sister-in-law and kids that live in Texas were in Utah for a month so we decided to head to Utah to visit them for the weekend. We were also able to see my brother and his wife and kiddo that just moved to Utah from Idaho. We had an action packed weekend and were completely exhausted by the end. On Friday night when we got there we headed to an elementary school that was doing a movie on a blow up screen. Then on Saturday we went to a park to let the kids play, went to a carnival for Ben and Sara's ward, and went to a splash pad. Then we went back to Amanda's parent's house and played games and ate dinner. We had so much fun and were so glad to be able to see family.

Asher 3 Months

Asher is 3 months. He is such a good little baby. It was hard to get this picture of him because he is obsessed with putting his hands in his mouth. Every picture I took he was sticking his hand in his mouth. He is continuing to grow so much.
