We blessed Asher on April 10th while my parents were still here. He wasn't even a week old yet. I have never gone back to church that quickly after having a baby. Joe and I only attended sacrament meeting and the kids stayed for all of church and my parents brought them home. Joe blessed Asher. Some of the things he was blessed with were that he would make good choices and that they would be pleasing unto the Lord. He would receive the Holy Ghost, go on a mission, and be sealed in the temple to his wife. He would be a beacon unto those around him, leading others to the Lord and he would be a good example. We feel very blessed to have Asher in our home.

Wow! You went back so quickly but I can totally understand doing it while family is in town. We blessed Gunnar earlier than most because of family being around too. Not that early though.:)
